Ok so that isn’t the actual name of this piece and I have no idea of the title nor creator. This was spotted over at Infart and their site is in French (I think). So anybody out there that can translate, throw me a frickin’ bone here. Until then, we’re sticking to my title…
Blood splatter close-up inside of post…

Spotted over at MelbourneGraffiti……very suitable for the current state of the U.S.

Born and raised in south Florida, Nathan Delinois has been crafting his Art for as long as he remembers. Taking part in many exhibitions, winning a long list of awards, and having his artwork selected for an American & Russian Art Exchange, he is definitely no stranger to the art scene. A once member of the Broward Art Guild, his artwork has been seen all over South Florida.
This artist incorporates many different influences in his work. Many visibly present and some not as readily recognized. When asked about his influences the artist answered with, “I have so many it’s hard to just give a few; I am definitely influenced by my Haitian background and the use of color in a lot of Haitian Art. This can be seen in a few of my later self portraits & paintings. At the same time I am also influenced by a lot of the graffiti of Marc Ecko, Tat’s cru & the Inkheads. There is also the design quality of African art & the drama of Greek art from the Hellenistic period. I also like the work of some contemporary artists… Especially that of the new pop surrealists also known as “low brow artists”.
Here is what Nate has to say about his current series:
The Current series that I am working in is similar to a potpourri with a mélange of images and patterns. While usually based on a figurative element that is the focal point, the associated images and patterns are representative of my personal experiences, ideas, and philosophies. Although each piece is usually a direct response to the text contained with in, I still try to keep the actual meaning as ambiguous as possible. I want the viewer to find his or her own meaning and relationship to the artwork. At first glance there is a sense of whimsy in my work that is grounded by its urban visual elements.
The medium that I tend to work in is acrylics and watercolor. I tend to paint on varied materials such as wood, canvas, or paper.

Another great piece from David Choe. Pay close attention to the details “inside” of the image as he illustrates with preciseness like no one else can. He seems to capture great emotion in his work every time.

What is Abraham Obama?
Artist Ron English has left that up to us. He hasn’t and will not say the meaning behind his piece but nonetheless it is rather interesting. The image blends the face of the Democratic presidential nominee Barack Obama with the icon, bearded visage of Abraham Lincoln. So what does Abraham Obama mean to you??

No….seriously, this kid is putting in work at a young age. Cohen specializes in watercolor and knows a thing or two about art. He puts down his colors then sends his work out to graffitists, artists, tatoo artists, printmakers, and clothing designers. Once in the artist’s posession, they have artistic freedom to add to Cohen’s work. This project has led Cohen to several art shows and his own skateboard design for Foundation.
