If you’ve been living under a rock, you probably don’t know Mr. Forte was released from prison last year after getting off early from a 14 yr. stint (courtesy of George W. Bush….really). I was hesitant to listen to his new material post Fugees but I was pleasantly surprised to find this gem of a song off of his new EP. From reading his blog posts over at The Daily Beast, John has realized the mistakes he’s made and is on a positive path now. I’m not mad at all….enjoy nerds!

By all means this isn’t a brand brand new video, but people are still sleeping on my girl from England. Pay attention to her unique voice and how her melodies penetrate the track like a…like a…well…(I’ll leave that one alone). Off of her debut album 19, she is one to watch for in the coming years.
