Jus sayin….
Like I’ve said before, there is some fly music here in the UK and here is some more proof to back up my statement. Fatima delivers interesting “Sa-Ra“-esque harmonies over the stupidly produced Funkineven track. I’ll admit this is my first run in with Fatima so I’ll be sure to check out the rest of her catalog to see what other gems she has awaiting.

Ok nerds, Ms. FatBellyBella dropped another gem over at her website. Click the listen link to take a listen….and no, it’s not an instrumental. The intro just happens to very very very long. Overall it’s a dope track, plus Madlib can do no wrong.
Shout out to whoever does her illustration….sick!
Great guitar riff and great animation to match….

Another reason why Foreign Exchange is one of my favorite groups. If you’re not up Yahzarah, you will be now. Upon first listen, it’s very reminiscent of Janelle Monae’s work but not as “out there” which is fine since that wouldn’t fit Yahzarah’s style. The alt/indie rock inspred, Why Dontcha Call Me No More, not only breaks all grammatical rules as far as the title is concerned but does a great job at capturing a solid melody underneath catchy songwriting. Good job by Nicolay and Phonte…

Ok, this is some fire right here produced by Black Milk…

M1 brings us a free joint for you nerds to enjoy until their mixtape, Illest In America, drops and busts you in your head. This track is pretty different and the flow on top is pretty sick. Enjoy….
I’m not sure how I missed this one which came out in November of last year, but never too late for some fresh visuals from one of the most underrated producers.
