So during my random internet searching….I came across a producer by the name of StewRat out of Ohio (I think). He didn’t have much info on his bandcamp page, nor could I find any bios or photos of the kid. Perhaps it doesn’t matter….the music speaks for itself. Although this track is hip hop, I wouldn’t throw that title on him as a producer.

‘A Little Light‘ is a hypnotic ode to boom bap as the drums, sample, and bassline all seem to work together perfectly. There really is an art to choosing the RIGHT drum sounds and bassline to match a sample and Stew Rat wins here. Those fresh kids over at one of my favorite blogs abroad put together this retarded beat tape for the masses. They pretty much got with their favorite beatsmiths and requested some exclusive joints and this is the outcome of that. There are some very very nasty tracks on here so you may wanna protect ya neck. Enjoy bidges….

I spotted this over at one of my favorite German blogs, RapOhneLizenz, so not much is known about this producer that calls himself Praise. What I do know is that this beat is hard and the snares make me wanna punch you in the face….like right now. Props to Praise

Xperiment is reppin Denver, Co and I must say…..this track made me almost smack the old lady that was standing across from me when I heard it. One of the sickest basslines I’ve heard in a good minute. This kid is gonna be a problem, remember I told you.

I don’t know much about this kid except that he’s from London and he’s got some pretty different beats. This one in particuliar reminds a lot of Flying Lotus out of LA. I’ll definitely post more of his work as I find it.
