Speechless and thankful….

Last weekend I had the opportunity to catch one of my favorite comics (courtesy of EventChaser), Bill Maher, on his stand tour at the Gibson Amphitheater. I must say I wasn’t sure what I was in for because I was only familiar with his HBO political show, but he didn’t disappoint as he bashed Bush and Republicans with his usual witty, sarcastic manor. If you have the chance to catch this event, you may not want to miss this one. Oh and speaking of bashing Bush, in the near future I’ll be posting some interviews that I conducted with the creators of “Please God Save Us” (a previous post that upset plenty of visitors, you can’t please everybody I guess?). Stay tuned…..

I spotted this over at Heather’s blog and had to scoop it up. I’m still not fully sold on Kid Cudi but Ryan Leslie has the ability to make JJ Evans sound fresh on a track. Can’t wait to hear the song…

Ok, I’m posting this nonsense for two reasons.

1: They filmed this in my hometown at a spot we used to frequent

2: This is ridiculously stupid/retarded/funny/sad all at the same time

So I’m sure you nerds have heard that once again Mr. West had a run in with the razzi last weekend in London. Surprised?? Maybe you are and maybe you aren’t…I am not too surprised myself but the question I ask is “does he have a right?” Of course he does….if somebody invades your space, 9 times out of 10 there will be a natural reaction to remove that person. As a matter of fact, we were born with this natural instinct (remember what happened to the kid that tried to play with your Transformer without authorization??….same concept here). I guess the thing that gets me is that he is almost shocked that these people will do anything to get pictures. When you’re one of the biggest superstars in the world, you should know that this comes with the territory (just ask Britney Spears). In closing I have some words of advice for both ‘Ye and the paparazzi:

Kanye – don’t be surprised when your picture gets taken

Paparazzi – don’t be surprised if you lose a camera and an eye in the process
