Art N Hustle in partnership with artist Nate Dee: Secrets, Regrets, Joys… and Truths

Miami, Florida – Art N Hustle in partnership with artist Nate Dee are curating a summer art show entitled  Secrets, Regrets, Joys… and Truths from June 10th – 11th, 2011.   Secrets, Regrets, Joys… and Truths will feature works of art that explore the more subtle moments of life (secrets, regrets, joys, and truths) as expressed by Nicole Ricca, Todd Elliot Mansa, Nathan Delinois, and Vanessa Craan. The event will take place from 8PM until 12AM at Villa 221, which is located at 221 NE 17th Street, Miami, FL 33132 (305)416-5280 just outside of the wynwood art district.

Art N Hustle’s past events include:

  • Three high profile art shows at the Paul Fisher Gallery in West Palm Beach…
  • The Feel Good Music Festival at The Heights Waterfront in Downtown Tampa…
  • The Wars Style Networking Party at Mia Biscayne
  • Numerous Trapped in My Thoughts Poetry Jams and networking events throughout South Florida.

Art N Hustle has teamed up with The Christopher Miro Gallery & Villa 211, and The Artkitextural Foundation, to bring you this urban art event. Little Secrets, Regrets, Joys… and Truths will begin on June 11th, 2011 at 7PM with an hour long invitation-only private viewing for collectors, museum curators and press. Then will official open at 8PM for the general public. There will be live art and musical performances.

Little Secrets, Regrets, Joys… and Truths will showcase a solid line of emerging contemporary and urban art to the South Florida Art scene.  This show will appeal to both sides of the art world – fine and urban.

” We want to change the perception of what urban art is, a genre that doesn’t get much respect to garner the buying power that others do. This is the first exhibit of many to if not change the minds of the art community at least open them to what “urban” is categorized as.” says Art N Hustle Founder Corey Knight.

“This will be an art show, a cultural event, a party, and a most joyful spectacle that you will not want to miss.” says Art N Hustle Art Director Nate Dee.

This event is open to the public (On June 11th – July 2nd, 2011) and you can RSVP on Facebook or arrive the opening night of the event. Please note that you must be at least 21 years old to purchase alcohol from the bar at the event (Must show I.D).

Made In Britain Exhibit: London Miles Gallery | Sept. 10th

I’m always a fan of anything that supports local artists/talent. This looks like a show I’ll definitely check out:

“Made In Britain is a themed group exhibition opening on September 10th 2010 in the Atrium area of Westbourne Studios. More than 30 artists living and working in the UK are taking part and have created an unique 24 x 24 inch artwork, inspired by and in celebration of everything quintessentially British. The exhibitions showcase a range of talent, from well known established artists to recent graduates. Its a wonderful chance to get to see what the new generation of British contemporary talent has to offer. Opening night includes a vintage mini installation supplied by the London Mini company, British cider by Brothers and soft drinks provided by firefly.”
