I love getting emails from artists, especially when the art is dope as all outdoors. Daryll (born in Reno, but currently residing in Oakland) has a unique style when it comes to his paintings and illustrations. The thing that stands out most to me are his choice of colors and the “grotesquely exaggerated human forms” seen in his pieces.

I spotted the talent of this 17 yr. old artist over at Pharrell’s new website ARTST.com. This portrait was crafted by Julissa Peralta by painting on the bottom of cans. It’s good to see talent and creativity at a young age.
Working tv and film director/producer for the Emmy Award and Golden Globe winning hit show LOST, Jack Bender, is an incedible artist as well. Who knew? Well….not me.
