Another Kentucky artist hit me up recently with some of his music and like I said before, it is an untapped market. There seems to be a lot of good hip hop coming out of that state as of lately. Naming Joe Budden and Phonte as his main inspirations, Devine delivers solid bars of non-gun talk while maintaining a professional flow to get his point across. He should be sending over his mixtape for us to check out shortly and I’m looking forward to hearing more of what he has in store.
p.s. Devine is in the process of working with Nemo, another dope artist I’m feelin’ out of Kentucky. Check him out if you haven’t yet.

I tried heading over to Derek’s website so I could give you nerds more insight about this talented artist, but his website has exceeded bandwidth. Hopefully it will be back up soon. In the meantime, enjoy the art.

Fresh vid from the Kentucky native, Jalin. If you haven’t checked out this previous mixtape ‘Few & Far Between’, make sure you head over to his bandcamp page and do so now.
New mixtape “The Brilliance” coming in December 2010.
p.s. I dig zombie chicks….its something about the blood
p.s.s. Shout out to Tarik for the heads up
