So one of the cooler people I’ve met online since blogging sent me over a mixtape to check out. I really hate admitting this but I’m gonna be real right now nerds, I always assume the worst when people send me material (especially hip hop). The good news is this dude got lyrics. He is representin’ NC and he’s nice with the pen as displayed over the Pete Rock track posted above. I wouldn’t say the whole mixtape knocks as some of the songs seemed a bit out of place, but Quill definitely has the potential to make bangers given the production is right. Looking forward to hearing more….
