Another reason why Foreign Exchange is one of my favorite groups. If you’re not up Yahzarah, you will be now. Upon first listen, it’s very reminiscent of Janelle Monae’s work but not as “out there” which is fine since that wouldn’t fit Yahzarah’s style. The alt/indie rock inspred, Why Dontcha Call Me No More, not only breaks all grammatical rules as far as the title is concerned but does a great job at capturing a solid melody underneath catchy songwriting.
