Jamaican Boy – Bost & Bim feat. Brisa Roché & Lone Ranger

I heard this at a bar this past weekend and had to look it up. What I thought was an Estelle dub plate is actually a remix with an artist by the name of Brisa Roche on the vocals. FreshIndie: Leanne Robinson – Harmony of Love

Today I bring you a young, talented artist with a tender but powerful voice. Her name is Leanne Robinson and she’s only 19 so she is nowhere near peaking yet and she already has incredible raw talent. Definitely one to watch for….

Fresh Quote – “The Standard Pace Is For Chumps”

Kimo’s high expectations set a new pace for me. He taught me “the standard pace is for chumps” – that the system is designed so anyone can keep up. If you’re more driven than “just anyone” – you can do so much more than anyone expects. And this applies to ALL of life – not just school.
