Swedish graf artist/sneaker head, Alex Albrandt, created a custom pair by combining a canvas piece with some Pumas (hence the title). Alex is a sneaker head but says he doesn’t have too many pairs lying around (65 or so). Be sure to check out his blog for more of his work to come.

I just read over @ David Choe’s blog that he will be in London for the next 3 weeks painting the city and will also have a show at the Lazarides Gallery in early December. I’m there…if you’re in London hit me up. Only if you’re cool though, I only chill with cool people.
Arts London News takes a tour of the colourful walls of Shoreditch, East London and asks, when does graffiti become street art? Including an interview with London writer Panik as he crosses underground with the mainstream art world with a new solo show, ‘Changing Faces’ at King’s Cross’ Sartorial gallery.
Eventually you’re going to get there. It might take a day, it might take a lifetime, but through that persistence, and through that determination and drive, I think there’s definitely a lot of beauty in that. And a lot of power. That’s what I want to tap into. -Above

Jack Splash brings us his latest since PlantLife. I found out about Jack from my bass player, Dale Jennings, that toured with Plant Life in Europe. If you’re not familiar with Jack, he’s an artist and a crazy ass eclectic producer. Some of the artists he’s worked with include Jazmine Sullivan, Alicia Keys, Estelle, Cee-Lo, Solange, John Legend, Raheem DeVaughn, Anthony Hamilton and more.
This mixtape is not what you expect though. Jack delivers odd but interesting rhymes over sick retro synth laiden tracks that combine elements of the 70′s and 80′s creating a genre of his own. If you’re open minded and want to treat your ears to something different and refreshing, download and prepare for a mind fcuk.

First I must mention that I wasn’t able to go for obvious reasons, but the homie Ritzy was able to take some pics from her iPhone for those of us that missed out.
I couldn’t find my camera on friday so I took a few flicks with my iphone. The one with me in it is me, Angry Woebots and his manager, Palmetto. It was bizonkers, packed as hell in that 15k sq ft place. – Ritzy
More pics after the jump….
