FreshArt: Slick

Courtesy of WalrusTV/UpperPlayground:

In this week’s edition of Walrus TV, graffiti legend SLICK tells us how he earned his name while he was in Catholic school. SLICK was a troublemaker as a kid, and it was his penchant for vandalism that actually lead him to art school. Ironically, he stumbled into his crew while at Otis Parson in Los Angeles. SLICK showcased his talent in the streets, and like many artists, has seamlessly made the transition into the gallery. He’s had a long career and his art has been shown everywhere from films, album covers and music videos.
