I can’t even clown because my Jamaican genes may lead me in this direction one day. Anyways, this joint is a banger and I see it easily being the song for spring. Justice League did a sick job on the beat as usual and the boss does his usual job with the rhymes. Fresh pick yall…

One of my favorite joints off the Renaissance album gets a fresh remix. The lineup says it all so it I’ll let you nerds decide. Who killed it the hardest??

This needs no introduction. Spotted this joint over at 2dopeboyz along with a release date of April 7th for Only Built 4 Cuban Linx 2. I won’t hold my breath, but this will hold me over until then.

This kid is pretty sick. He reached out to me but didn’t provide much info except for his myspace page. Although his page doesn’tprovide much background info, it provided more than enough dope artwork. Make sure to check him out and hit him up if you’re need any work. See inside for more pics…

Detroit rapper, Rideout, brings us another joint from his catalog that’s up for Best Independent Song of 2008 via Hoodhype.com. Here is what he has to say about this joint:
This song samples the classic Gil Scott Heron song “We Almost Lost Detroit”. I’ve always wanted to sample this song and luckily for me Terry found a highly effective way to make the song our own. Living in Detroit I was in love with the beautiful ugliness of the city. There’s so much soul and history in Detroit, yet to many its somewhat of a forgotten city. I wanted to write a song that that spoke of my experience in the city. No city is perfect…Detroit is far from perfect…but we ain’t goin’ nowhere.
