Hot fiyah!! I could do without Kid Cudi on the hook, but otherwise this joint is retarded. Blu sounds ridiculous over alchemist tracks and Ev does his thing as usual. This track will be on the Alchemist Cookbook EP being released via iTunes on Tuesday. Be sure to purchase it…
So I’m sure you nerds have heard that once again Mr. West had a run in with the razzi last weekend in London. Surprised?? Maybe you are and maybe you aren’t…I am not too surprised myself but the question I ask is “does he have a right?” Of course he does….if somebody invades your space, 9 times out of 10 there will be a natural reaction to remove that person. As a matter of fact, we were born with this natural instinct (remember what happened to the kid that tried to play with your Transformer without authorization??….same concept here). I guess the thing that gets me is that he is almost shocked that these people will do anything to get pictures. When you’re one of the biggest superstars in the world, you should know that this comes with the territory (just ask Britney Spears). In closing I have some words of advice for both ‘Ye and the paparazzi:
Kanye – don’t be surprised when your picture gets taken
Paparazzi – don’t be surprised if you lose a camera and an eye in the process
Bonus: Funny clip from the good people over at ItsTheReal.com
I can’t seem to find a bio of any sort on this guy, but Beejoir is an incredible artist. LV Child sculpture(above) is made in black cast resin with hand painted gold lettering. Limited to 500 pieces, each sculpture is sold in an artist designed LV box with a hand signed COA by Beejoir inside. Courtesy of FUSShop

New joint from Chris, Nasir, and Shawn. My apologies in advance for the tags all over the track. Not a bad joint at all, but part of me feels it could’ve been a little better. Definitely sounds good on paper but the execution doesn’t quite live up to the idea. Maybe if rappers started recording in the same studio we’d get the magic back that hip hop is missing. Still a fresh pick nonetheless…
Very Euro, very electronic, very Daft Punk (kinda)….but this is growing on me nonetheless. This live performance is off of Dallas’ upcoming album 8 Dazeaweakend. Recorded under the moniker The Dallas Austin Experience, 8 Dazeaweakend is without equal. Eleven new songs (plus a cover of T. Rex’s “Children of the Revolution”) are interwoven into a short film narrating the true coming of age story of Daisy, a real-life friend of Dallas’ from the Atlanta party scene. Says Austin: “8 Dazeaweakend is a reality experience based on girl I knew in Atlanta – I met her with my cousin Juan, hanging at after-parties and stuff.”
I’m interested in hearing the rest of the album. Urban music needs more diversity so I rocks with this.
Kelsey Brooks is a San Diego painter whose work can be seen throughout the US and overseas. He is a formally trained scientist who spent his prior years tracking viruses for the government…that’s pretty O.G. if I might say myself. Kelsey blames his inspiration on the US university system which refuses to teach its scientists how to draw. His paintings mainly represent Hindu and Buddhist deities, exotic animals and sex. I’m rooting for Ye on this new album because of the fact he is creating honest music in an artistic fashion. As far as actually loving the songs themselves, that’s another story. But here he talks about creating a new genre and….uh…..now I’m not sure what to think.
