Here is a great post from Illdoctrine on “hipster” rap. I have ignored the term for some time now due to the fact that I HATE labels. I feel labels are what boxes us in mentally and also kills the various growth that begins within the rap genre every now and then. Let’s start judging the actual music instead of creating labels from the images that come along with the music…..I agree with Jay, I hate bloggers too.
