I guess I’ve been snoozing under a boulder for the past 2 months, but I finally listened to this dude Buff1 and what a present surprise it was. He can actually spit….after I listened, I didn’t want my 4 minutes back. I am sorry I skipped over this dude repeatedly and you should no longer either. This track is off of his sophomore release titled There’s Only 1 and doesn’t fall short of pretty darn good. He is representing Ann Arbor, Michigan and can spit wordplay with the best of them. Yes, another heater from Jeezy. The only drawback on this song is the beginning of Nas’ verse where he tries to pull a “Twista”. Thank God he stops before the end of the verse. Other than that, I am feeling this joint. This is actually the first time I’ve looked forward to a Recession.

For those of you still sleeping on Sy, please wake the f*%k up. This singer/songwriter has been on the scene for a minute. Whether it be doing shows or writing for other artists, Sy is a force to be reckoned with. She is constantly pushing the boundaries of music giving us a break from the melancholy music of today which we call R&B. This is off of her 2005 release The Cyberspace Social but still sounds as if it came out yesterday.

But that’s as far as it goes when it comes to this bowl of autotune. I’m not saying this Runners produced song is completely wack, but let’s just say I can live without hearing it ever again.
