Pay attention all you fresh nerds…. the Microsoft Surface is an interactive touch-screen surface that is available now at the Rio in Las Vegas. Well almost, they are also developing a grand piano application for the Surface (for all you virtual pianists).

- the software platform runs on a custom version of Windows Vista and has wired Ethernet 10/100, wireless 802.11 b/g, and Bluetooth 2.0 connectivity
- applications are written using either Windows Presentation Foundation or Microsoft XNA technology
